As in you don't have springs/wheels/tires on your truck? Are you getting your new stuff installed?

so close but so far away! I don't know what trails the guys are hitting this weekend but the Official Run on the 9th you can bring your truck stock. We'll just have to spot you in some parts.
National has a set of 17" Procomp alloys like mine for a good price (used)
Do you know what tires you're going to run?

This is from my buddies on facebook
"McLean hill as an easy start. If that goes well quirk ridge in the deep back NW corner should be entertaining"
anyone run these trails before?
Tarzan

Yes to both. Quirk Ridge can be very tough if wet, in fact when the hill is wet it's nearly impossible to climb but very fun to try. The toughest part of QR is the section between the first and second hairpins it's very off camber and the trees have the marks to prove it.

errr.. hmm interesting.
seeing the trucks that are coming, that might be a bit to hardcore for them.
heck im not even sure if my little yoter could do it

Can't do it this time
Tarzan

Best way to tackle QR is climb the hill and park the group before the first hairpin, theres lots of room including turning around. Once the group is parked we can walk up and survey the trail section. If the group decides to run the section we do it one at a time with spotters and make sure they park again well past the second hairpin so they can come down and watch others run the section. The section is very techicnical as far as picking a line but it's doable in a stock vehicle.

No clue on the tires yet, but I'm quite set on having Teflon wheels. But what a pain to try and buy stuff in Calgary!!! I'm supposed to have a call from National today but from shat Shane said yesterday I'm quite sure they won't find what I'm looking for, let alone at a good price.
I'm about to buy online if I can find anything in stock.

Sorry, I haven't had a chance to try and see if you have a thread that describes exactly what it is that you are building, etc. but if you're still looking for leafsprings, I just thought that I would recommend Standens in Calgary. They sell leaf packs and springs separately. I got two packs of brand new 63" leaf packs there for a very reasonable price, and have been very happy with them so far.

Hey guys, I'm down... I'm definitely a newbie at wheelin' but I'm here to learn! Where are we meeting? I'm likely only able to go for a couple hrs but I only live 25min away.

Mmmmmmmm ... Bacon.
You kids have fun out at McLean. With no tourists here in Mexico anymore, I got all the beaches all to myself. Sadly, there is no one here to even get swine flu from. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_wink.gif
