Anyone running 20" rims & tires on a 2nd gen taco?
Are you lifted and what tire size are you running?

I got a great deal on some Incubus Krawler rims
(20x9, 12 offset, 5.47 backspace, 110 bore)
These are going to be my summer set-up.

The research I've done, everyone says look for a 0 offset & only 4-4.5 backspace, blah, blah, blah but I think that mostly applies to 16" & 17" rims. I've test fit the rim & caliper clearance is not an issue.

I'm looking at some Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. They don't come in the size I want but they do come in a 275/55r20.
According to the specs, the OD is 31.9" and the sectional width is 11.2"
I like these tires b/c I can get them for appr. $1000 installed and they seem to be the perfect mix between a sport & off-road tire and they've received excellent reviews.

Will I encounter some rubbing?
Would it be minor like just the mudflap?

Right now I am running my winter combo: Cooper Discoverer STC tires in 265/70r17 on the trd sport rims. These tires are 31.6" OD & 11.03" sectional width and I'm not experiencing any rubbing. I have about a finger gap between this tire and I think the stock UCA.

Are these TRD Sport Alloy Wheels spec correct:
17x7.5, +30 mm offset, 5.5" backspacing?

If so, theoretically I should be okay or only experience the mild mudflap rub with my intended set-up.

I am actually running Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/60/20's (33" diameter) with a 3" lift and there was only minimal rubbing when hitting large bumps / inclines or dips but I trimmed a little bit of the plastics and now it's rub free. I have KMC XD Rockstar rims with a 5.14 backspace and 12 offset and they had lots of clearance with the OEM UCA's. As for stock height I don't think it will clear 32's without some trimming but I can't comment from experience.

I really like the tires and find them very comparable to Nitto Terra Grapplers for offroad performance. I have been out to McLean creek and they performed great on the rocks / trails! (I'm not much for mudding so I can't comment on mud performance). The tread and sidewall are more aggressive than most AT's.
