well after 4mos of sheer hell, the POS is home for a few days. It makes it's final destination to E-town in a few days and homebound with its replacement. Sweet thing about this is the FJ hauled that trailer from Red Deer with no issues, I have a full size truck hauling the car and trailer, but damn I wish teh tow rating was higher on the FJ, I would love to pull this with eth Fj, anyways here's the pics:

well the car is gone, we trailered it up to Edmonton where I sold it, and bought a new 2010, after all I have been through, you would think I'd be scared of a Dodge, well the car is sooo cool, and I have learned the 2010 have an all new electrical system which makes me think that Chrysler knows of a problem and just won't open up about it to avoid a costly recall.
Oh well, we head back up next weekend to pick up the new one.

I read your thread on beyond. It's truly epic! Im surprised no one from eastside stepped up to the plate.

^ you aren't the first to say that, but someone from the dealership did go onto beyond and make a rather "classy" statement..... again in typical Eastside Dodge fashion hahaha
I'm going to post my story on as many sites as I can, get the word out. It was funny from the time we left the house to when we got to Edmonton, we had 12-15 people all makes comments and congratulate me on my effort, we had to drive by Airdrie Chrysler after we ate at Timmies, and staff all saw the car, and someone even called Eastside Dodge.
point is, I'm not doing this to be a :):):):):):), I'm proving a point that Eastside Dodge and Chrysler had sufficient time to resolve this and they chose not to, and they failed to fix a MAJOR noted and seen problem in the car. A problem that proved a dangerous with my accident to a future potential fatality. The funny thing is Chrysler has revamoed the electrical system in the 2010's without mentioning it. I wonder if they knew about the misfires to make the change before costly recalls.

honestly I'm suprised you would even drive another dodge after your experience with this car. Glad to hear you've gotten some sort of resolution to this problem.

Thanks for providing that. Unreal story; hope you end up winning your class action suit, etc... Keep us updated on how things go. Best of luck with it! I'll do my part too, and definitely not buy from Eastside Dodge. The one or two times I was ever in there, they were a bunch of sleezy :):):):):):)bags (the sales staff anyway) that I'd never buy from anyway.

Wow, quite the story there. Thanks a lot for posting this. A real eye opener to the reality of dealerships!

well I want this out to as many poeple as possible, I have been patient enough over the duration of this with no help from Chrysler or getting lowballed by a very shady dealership. And all they do is find something else to blame the problem on.
Now they blame the aftermarket parts on the car, all parts were cosmetic and were Genuine Mopar parts, with the exception to the headlight covers (clear) from GTS. I have EVERY part receipt from Eastside parts dept to prove this, so whatever, I have lost all respect for these idiots, my 5 yr old acts in a better manner than those rejects.
what next.. ar they going to blame the incident on the cottonfibre blend Khakis I was wearing that night?
I have yet to see a fuel shutoff on #2 and #4 cylinders as a direct result of clear plastic GTS headlight covers.

I saw a full size Dodge with the same stickers as yours on it at National a month ago. Something about an engine issue they wouldn't resolve.
