Yes I would like to make one more trip, we actaully have more time than I thought for Mclean.

Access to the OHV trails within McLean Creek Forest Land Use Zone from the campground is permitted; from December 1 to April 30, OHV use is restricted to tracked snow vehicles & OHVs weighing less than 450 kg (1000 pounds) & having three or more floatation tires; dirt bikes are permitted in McLean Creek Forest Land Use Zone from May 1 to November 30 only.

Maybe the BOD will has a run planned for Nov. if not lets put one together as the only weeekend in October left is the 24th (Halloween is the following).

Count me in as tentative provided it is somewhat of an easy run.

Yeah I'm in. I do have some responsibilities on Saturday Morning and Sunday evening, so if you guys are thinking of a Sunday AM run I'm in.

I know of a nice short run (Top of the World) and there is only 1 really technical climb and 2 others that can be bypassed or if your City_Rider you can man up and do them.

So, is this still hapenning? Maybe Sunday, so that we don't risk being late for Halloween on Sat?

I thought Mclean was closed Nov 1 in years past but then I saw he notice and figured I was mistaken. Did they change the date like I thought?

Easy run is in the calendar for Nov 8th which is also the rally (great photo ops Jeff).

Actually, I might still be into this if it's on Sunday (have to check with the wife if we have plans). Weather might still be ok.

If would still be with the Jeep and not the Taco though...

Hi Harry - thanks for the Heads up. When you say "also the rally"... what do you mean by that? Is there a rally at that time? Sorry, I'm new : )

By Rally I mean small sports cars with crazy tires driving at insane speeds on snow covered roads.

If you are interested I have a spare seat or can help you find some good spots to take photos.

I should explain what my involment with the Rally is since you are "new". For many years now Rally West has used the Calgary Amature Radio club and the Nissan Import club to help hold their races. My job is to provide recovery and there are a few of us that perform this task. Since we have 4x4's with winches it was easy for us to recover stuck, crashed you name it rally cars and it is a lot of fun. Basically my job is to chase the last rally car down each course unless there is a major off and they have to stop the cars. Are you in?

Looks like I'm ok to do this. Anyone else interested besides me and Gary? the McLean trip, not the rally ;)

Yes, we should start getting a head count of "who's in" to determine if it's worthwile going out. Besides, I aint going on a Toyota run where 50% of the vehichles are jeep. :)

Was wondering if we shouldn't aim for 9:30 since we get to sleep in on Sunday any ways. Being that we gain one hour, it will feel like 10:30 and it will get dark soon now. Remember to turn your clocks back so you don't sit and wait there for an hour before the rest of us to show up. :D
