Hey Everyone.
Driving a 96 Runner and an 04 Runner. The 04 is for family duty, the 96 just started as my trail ride. Just curious who's out there who wheels with runner's. I have an appreciation for all things Toyota so it doesn't bother me what you drive (as long as it's Toyota!).
Anyways, live in Grande Prairie and always looking for people with similar likes to partner up with in heading up the trails and seeing what this area has to offer.
Would also like to head down to the Calgary area one day to meet up with the majority of the group.

If it's the same one in your sig that looks like one sweet ride.
What mods have you done?
I've always appreciated the 1st gen

That Runner is a lot better than what I had to drive when I was still in school!

haha thanks man.
I got it for a killer deal, i only paid 700$ for it. My parents bough it for me for my first vehicle then i payed them back. Slowly i fixed it up, did timing chain, welded exhaust leaks, fixed oil leaks, and pretty much everything else you can imagine. Kinda sucks, before i started school working fulltime was awesome.. i could afford everything haha, now i want to get a locker for the rear and takes forever to save up. Hopefully i get a job in a hanger at the airport very soon.

Well done with your $700! It's definatley a nice ride now. And really good that you got to get some experience on turning it around, it'll always come in handy for the future Toyota's. And don't worry, after school takes all your money, life will find other ways to continue trying to take it all! In the quest for toys my wallet always seems to be empty.
It took me a while to find out Toyota's, I went through alot of domestics and when ever they gave me trouble (which was often) I would just bail on it and go on to the next.
The very few times my Toyota's give any grief, I couldn't imagine doing anything other than fixing it and just keep driving it till the wheels fall off.
Sorry for the late reply, I've been pretty tied up lately, but had to pass on my kudo's to your ride.

Thx man!
I tried to post pics in the "show your truck" section, but I'm guessing photobucket or something is the way to go? I'll figure it out and get some up there. She looks alot like many others out there but she's good and relaible and fairly capable as-is.

1999 SR5 Here, just started wheeling with it. Really conservative as I wouldn't want to scratch it haha.
