Here's a few of my other "almost" ride. Been working on her for 5 years. The pics are from last year so alot has changed since then, it will now be able to get lower. The wheels are 20's so keep that in mind when you see how much the fender eats(it actually gets about 3 more inches of wheel tuck now then when the pic was taken)

1998 Dodge Dakota (my first vehicle ever, bought it brand new in 98)
Custom air ride (half inch air line, Half inch valves, Dual half inch dual port Slambag RE7 bags, 2 Viair aluminum 10 gallon air tanks, 4 Viair 480 compressors, and 2 hawker odyssey PC 1700 batteries just for the air ride)
Custom upper and lower control arms, shortened rear end, custom rear axles(Moser USA), custom 4 link, custom 2 piece drive shaft, and the parts list goes on and on and on.

It also has a fully boxed frame, gusseted spring pockets, custom tranny crossmember that mounts to the inside of the frame rails so it will lay lower, notched cab for the drive shaft to clear, and that list goes on and on and on.

Then onto the stereo which is half in:
Ohio Generator 210 amp alternator with outboard rectifier(custom build)
Hawker Odyssey PC 2250 Battery in the cab.
Kenwood Excelon X-991 Head unit
Orion DEQ30 digital EQ
Image Dynamics CD2Pro Horn Loaded compression drivers(basically does the job of a tweeter but way more accurate)
Image Dynamics IDQ 6.5" midbass drivers
3 Image Dynamics ID Max 12" subwoofers
3 Kenwood X1R 1200 watt RMS Digital mono amplifiers
1 Kenwood X4R 4 channel Digital full range amplifier

Sorry for the rant.

I used to ski but now snowboard after breaking my femur (well it was bone dust) and loosing almost 2 years.

Can't wait to hit the mountains this winter, I'm planning on trying every mountain around, plus heli and cat.

Here's the truck that I took off the road when the Taco joined the party, along with my 2 wheel toys, the CBR I sold to by the YZ, and my other winter ride.
72.jpg[/attachment:15s2stk8]

The truck has been in the family since it was 2. I put new Early Classic suspension in it- spindles and springs in the front for 3" of drop and 5" drop coils in the rear with new shocks, bushings, track bar, tires, brake rebuild, etc. 2 years ago was new engine/ transmission (GM 290hp crate and rebuilt TH350). I'm now in a holding pattern waiting for the money fairy to drop by so I can put some money into body and interior.
Strom.jpg[/attachment:15s2stk8]
RR.jpg[/attachment:15s2stk8]
YZ.jpg[/attachment:15s2stk8]

Bikes are bikes - 07 V-strom which is enough fun to keep me from missing the RR too much, but it's a much better commuter/ touring bike than the supersports. The YZ is just straight up too much fun, and one hell of a hill climbing/ off road machine.
Arbor.jpg[/attachment:15s2stk8]

THe board is an arbor A-frame that I fell in love with just by looking at the top sheet- I want to re-create the look of that board when I redo the wood bed in the 72. Walnut, Koa and Maple. Yum!

The front lip looks nice - I want to stick with 'stock' body lines as to not get aggressive with the body kit. Lowering will come when the suspension is redone with coilovers.

I've always loved the look of this car and when I found an SiR that was in good condition I knew I found my first project car. The plan is to do a full build on it and see how quick I can get it with a turbo...

But then again this is 5-7 years down the line.

Not sure it's stock... Definitely OEM but I have seem a few SiR's without the aggressive lip (I think - going to be double checking now).

I think the B16A2 is going to stay - the car has air bags and ABS which is great for safety and tossing on a turbo would make it pretty fun. For something to do and a place to start with engine mods (as opposed to the truck being heavily modded). I think I've got a decent platform. Good mileage as well...

So, after pouring much more money into it this winter I decided to take it to Race City for the Friday Secret Street races. I was hoping to 14's and at LEAST make it in the 100mph club. Much to my dismay, my 2nd run of the night resulted in a 14.9@98MPH which was gay! But, the first run and the couple of runs afterwards yielded 14.3@103.50MPH. Not bad for a 4000lbs family sedan, well see what next season holds *evil grin* Thinking of bringing it out to our Wednesday meet...

My thought for this long weekend..... No traction sucks! haha

Keep the block, throw on a B18C type R head, bolts right on, then turbo it. I believe the type R head has better air flow thru it-

best of both worlds really, one that sits low in the weeds, and the other that just tears them up... hahaha funny thing I was originally looking for a truck, before I came home with the Challenger. But it is the only car that has a TRUE retro throwback to the original. Well here are a few Updated pics of my Mythical Dodge, I say mythical because it has been 3 1/2 years in the building and will hopefully be shipped out here for next summer. Then I have to finish the interior.

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2763/4094343452_8d4b2ea207_b.jpg
The first pic is the first time it had been off the frame jig in 3 years. Still had one crossmember to remove then re fab to go inbetween the frame and not hang below. It will get me 3/4 of an inch lower!!!

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2596/4178017130_e90ebd628e_b.jpg
Second pic is just another angle

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2627/4177257571_156cb3fb5e_b.jpg
Had to raise the stock bedfloor all the way to the bottom of the bed rails to make room for the rear axle to tuck up and make room for all the other goodies!!! See next pic

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2802/4178022080_2a7a573b7d_b.jpg
In this pic you can see the basic set-up of the rear end. This is not nearly done just tacked in place for most stuff getting an idea for fitment of everything. And the cab had to be cut out along the driveshaft line to clear out some room(also not finished in the pic). The 2 7 gallon air tanks are fed by 4 Viair 480 compressors(not in pic). After it was all laid out it was finish welded and the media blasted and 2 toned red and black to match the front set-up

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2771/4178020902_4d0fd746f5_b.jpg
Just a quick shot of how I will be rolling it most of the time.

I will be doing a build post on it sometime.

Sorry for the links but I cant get the site to host the pics?!?!?

This is my drag queen, runs 16 psi and shreds tires ($$$)

Looks somewhat like my old one used to, i had bigger cans on the back, wider tires, and JDM VIP rims.

you want fast, try putting a T-67 turbo on one of these. Holy *expletive deleted* did my aristo ever fly.
I roasted a Dodge viper SRT-10 on my T-67 running 17 PSI.
It was an auto and would lose traction everytime i put my foot down.
Also gutted the back seats and stuff so it was a bit lighter.
If i got another one that would be the first thing i would do is fuel control, huge injectors and a monster turbo.

looks good though.

I may tear down the engine and do a rebuild and do a big single but I haven't decided yet. As it is with 16psi of boost, it spins em in 1st and spins them through 2nd so it's not bad but I want more..... It's never enough is it?

Why do a tear down? the 2JZ internals are built to withhold ~800 Hp.
You could literally smack a t-88 on there and be good to go with a fuel system.

I ran stock fuel system with my 67 and the AFRs were constantly in the 11.3-11.8 range which is perfect.

The worn-broken valve stem seals make this nice car a fairly big smoke huffer, it drives me nuts sometimes. So, knowing myself...in no time, one thing could lead to another and she'll be on an engine stand in no time. I want to mod the Runner first! Haha

The 2.0 is a dog, imo. You need to swap the turbo before you can seriously consider seeing more than 280whp... serious constriction on the model that was being hyped as "the tuner car" hehe. 300 wheel is bolt on territory for the 3.8 though and it just feels better, as you mentioned.

'07 Mazda 5. It's being detailed and inspected as we speak then it's going on Kijiji. Figured if Bruce sold one of his vehicles, I should sell mine. :)

Tried and true, my 1998 Cherokee Sport hasn't lived up to the "Heep" reputation but then I haven't thrashed it either.

Summer's finally here! Began getting my other ride ready for the road.

First pic is what it looked like last May.
2nd pic was what happened in July.
nighttime, a very large chunk of median was sitting in my lane and had a couple cars in the other lane, tried to slow down & serve around it but didn't make it.
Gramlights 57s pro's that aren't cheap and have been long discontinued.

Got some temporary wheels on at the moment.

Ahhhh that sucks, I had a 17"rim get written off a few years back on my low rider truck. A giant pot hole ate it alive....I used it to my advantage and got some nicer 20"rims.

here is our other ride.... it's missing a clutch and a turbo but it gets good mileage and is still fun in the twisty stuff

The Miglia wheels weigh a ton. I'm searching for new 17".

It's a 1990 US Spec M3...103,000 miles. Nearly all original.

Either the classic Hockenheim's (Current 1M wheels) or the BBS Cross spoke two piece wheel. Grrrrrr haha.

Very nice indeed.

The family Baby. She's been with us since she left the factory in my Grandfather's hands.
'76 E28 530i. Sounds fast. Isn't too fast. But the looks are unreal.
