For those of you on the sight that is not much into what All-pro is building right now for our truck. Shrockworks has a new rear bumper coming out for the new Tacoma.
Knowing Shrockworks they way I do, it will be a work of art so stay tuned into their site for updates and pictures.

no high clearance, no care:P
and unfortunately shrockworks has a VERY bad reputation for delays.

well I have never had any issues with them so I still recommend them. Seeing half the club using All-pro gear, I wouldn't recommend them either to anybody. I think they build weak stuff that falls apart when its put into anything other than nice sunny California weather.

David L has their front bumper and it looks like it would work pretty good. I'd be interested to see what their rear would look like.

after scanning their site i think i have found my new front bumper...i like that you can choose whether or not you have tubes on top of the bumper or not unlike ARB whicih all come with that ugly bar that is around the headlights

The ugly bar have saved my lights ( Toyota's & Solteks ) from tree's in slippery mud a few times.

i have to agree with Richard you should see the scratches on the powdercoat, on the hoops on my bumper, pretty is one thing but does it do what it's intended to do if yes then let me have the most ugliest armor on my truck hahaha

The bumper held up pretty good. It was the passenger side wing shifted and that was it. I haven't been running the bottom plates to keep it on straight so the whole bumper was a little crooked.
All the had to do was unbolt the wing and re-align it. Since All-Pro was nice enough to send the new bumper out with the enhancements the insurance company is gonna shred the old perfectly good bumper.
Having a hoop over the lights though would have helped keep the light intact but that's about it.
I do believe though if the bumper is secured to solidly to the frame, an impact from a deer like that would have tweaked the frame. Where the All-Pro plate side piece absorbed the impact and didn't transmit the impact to the frame of the truck.

3 years of wheeling with the stock bumper and never lost a light, i'll take my chances with out the ugly bar.... might keep the pre-runner style bar though, but not the outer bar

yeah I hear that, but I have a limit a bit with the gear change and I don't rev it out unless I really need to get somewhere in a hurry or chasing in Baja.

you will have to post pics of the new bumper. What has changed between your old All Pro bumper and your new one?

The design is the same, Sarah said there is more clearance but I didn't ask where as I haven't run into a clearance problem before. From what she told me about the new bumper:
- Stronger metal
- More supports inside
- Thicker powdercoat
- A hole for your winch controller plug
There was something else that I can't remember.
