Sounds awesome, hopefully Toyota isn't building this to try and compete with the Nissan GTR. Any word on performance specs yet?

this is more than a Supra. Supra were insane cars because they could handle huge miodifications (boost)
this car in insane in stock form.. the sound is incredible

if you look real close to the first picture you'll see that it's not a toyota symbol but a lexus L under the tape so it won't be a supra :(

yeah it's a Lexus but similar to how Land Cruiser is under Lexus, it could be a supra reborn just under Lexus

which would make it not a supra as supra is a toyota name and if this car was released as a lexus it would be named differently there for NOT a supra, lol
toyota makes land cruisers not lexus, they look a like but it's not alled a lexus land cruiser , now is it nate...lmao

depending on the perspective... an Audi is still a VW... a Lexus is still a Toyota, An Infinity is still a Nissan, An Acura is still a Honda...and a Range Rover today is still a Ford.... oh wait.... nope still a Ford!
Lexus GX470 = Land Cruiser Prado 120....
Lexus LX570 = yada yada
I wonder if the LF-A came out in Japan if it would be called a Supra? I couldn't imagine the Japanese trying to pronounce LF-A...ELU EFU AH not to mention Lexus!

production LF-A will be renamed to the LF-L to illustrate Toyota’s plan to run the supercar in next year’s Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race - LexusEnthusiast.com
I'm kinda intrigued... Sounds like Homologation Model for sure.

Ummmm ... yeah. And they are in*expletivedeleted*sane.
Engine
The LF-A is powered by a V10 engine displacing approximately 5.0 liters, with an output of over 500 hp (373 kW), and estimated by auto journalists to be approximately 550 hp (410 kW).[2] This powerplant enables the LF-A to reach a a top speed around 200 mph (320 km/h). Photos of concept interior gauges have revealed a 9000 RPM redline, however this may not make the production version.[24] The engine is connected to a six-speed sequential manual transmission with paddle-shifters.[2] Reports in Japanese automotive magazines in 2009 indicated that the the 4.8 L V10 engine for the LF-A would carry the 1LR-GEU designation.[25] A report in Evo in 2009 also indicated that the LF-A V10 engine was being considered for use in the upcoming Lotus Esprit.[26] On the LF-A, the V10 is installed with a front mid-engine placement for optimum balance.[27]

You guys are arguing the most ridiculous thing ever. This is not a supra ... in any way ... in any shape ... or any form. And that is not a bad thing.
This thing eats Italian Bulls and Stallions. Seriously. It runs on Lambos and Ferraris that they have put in a giant Japanese juicer.
this is more than a Supra. ...
Understatement of the year Etienne.

Yeah I'd have to agree with everyone else Nate it in no way a supra, that name died with the last supra they produced. This thing is a super car and priced like one its a 300,000 dollar car not to mentoin it's lost the supras spirit.
