I think you'll have to have them shipped to a US address and some of the places won't even take a "foreign" card. Maybe E-Bay?

I've read very good reviews on them
and I can get 8 replacements for the price of one visionx...
I'm buying 3 or 4 when I'm back, probably 2 normals and 2 "pencil" for reach.

i found a ebay seller thatll ship to calgary. for 10 lights =100$ for shipping. We'll split the cost per light.
So far, im in for 2, David is in for 2, Stu 5?? If Etienne orders now to we'll have around 14/15 lights. Ill talk to them to see if we can have a group buy deal, i know one site i was looking at the 7" ones are going for 114 per light or if you buy their budle its "$114.95 Each or $424.95 for a 4 pack, save $34.85 when you purchase 4 lights" - http://www.sidebysidesports.com/7hidoflica.html
Or we can buy them on ebay for - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7-HID-Off-Road-Light_W0QQitemZ330360922921QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMoto rs_ATV_Parts_Accessories?hash=item4ceb0ba329

When I need to buy 5. I'm looking at around $600.
I've gotta put some rubber under my truck first.
I think I'll have to wait on lights.
I've got a couple beat up lights I can toss up top till I scrape together some cash.

if we can get them for under $130 CDN per light, with wiring harness and shipping included, then I will be in for 2 lights.

I'll have to pass, I can't do truck stuff until December
but I'll buy two when I can. and then one or two from hidfoglight.com as they have spot instead of flood in the same casing.
(two center are hidfoglights - different and black trim - and two outers are kragen - red trim)

taxes and duties will likely kill you as they are made overseas.
I would buy from there, as it comes from HK direct...

hm.. hopefully that wont happen. How does all that border crap work anyway? ive never understood it.
well, we need 4 more lights to be sold to get 10, hopefully we can do it!
How come that ebay store sells them for 180$ and some other ones sell em for 100$
Just emailed me back with shipping costs
"It would run about 56.56 for 10 lights, I would ship them USPS so there will be no brokerage fees. "

ebay is 180 for a PAIR
that's where I'm getting mine
and border you get taxes always, but you also gt brokerage if the product was not mfg in the US.

US $36.00 for fist pair shipping, US $30.00 for every other one.
So that's $126 shipped for the first, $120 for the following ones if done on the same order.

I'll take two of the 7" spots.

sweet. we need to do more research because nathan says there are some other lights we can buy hid kits that may be cheaper.
But at the same time, these are pretty cheap for price and have solid reviews.

Yeah those are some really good prices for the Kragen's.
There is the option of going with a Lightforce or Hella and doing an HID mod which would yield a pretty good source of light with beam adjustability and filters for the future.
I think a pair of lightforces in Canada for a 140 or 170 won't break the bank and will be able to do an E-Bay HID mod. Plus you can use Lightforce filters for snow, fog, and hunting with a infrared scope... you know if you into that kinda stuff.
http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-corner/project-cj7/project-cj7-HID-Lightforce.htm
The lights were installed over a weekend. A few nights prior to doing the installation I took “before” pictures pointing into the woods behind my house, just so I could get a controlled comparison of the Halogen lights vs. the Xenon lights. The night I took the “after” set of pictures, my first professional comment was ... HOLY CRAP.
http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-corner/project-cj7/images/lightforce/Img_1669.jpg
The nice thing about Lightforce is they warranty no questions asked so if anything goes wrong with them they will warranty them no matter what, even if you melt the housing because you decided to throw in a massive HID bulb and ballast... just maybe leave that part out.

hm.. its a tough call, everyones been saying great things about the kragen ones and best part is its plug and play, hid bulbs are already in place and ready to go. Not sure if they could take a shotgun tho ;)

I think another reason those kragens are so appealing is the integrated ballasts. Plug and play.

Why not get the best of both worlds and get 2 Kragen's and 2 Lightforce?

I am looking at one pencil and one flood, 7" of course - I think that should round out my light artillery quite nicely... now just to properly wire in my 510 PIAA's...
I am for the Kragen's - I think the mounting hardware combined with an integral ballast (and no need to retrofit new bulbs) combined with them being reasonably cheap works for me.

So checked with my contact in Red Deer, and she gave me the name of the guy for this company: http://search.store.yahoo.net/cgi-bin/nsearch?catalog=yhst-76800471066344&query=99000-CSK&searchsubmit=Go&vwcatalog=yhst-76800471066344&.autodone=http://www.sidebysidesports.com/ and we can get the lights for $99 USD a light. But she said that most likely shipping, duties and etc would put them up around $200 CDN a light. probably out of our price range.
She also said that Kragen is no longer making these lamps as they were bought out from CSK-Reillies and won't be producing them anymore.
So if Antonio can still swing his deal for the lights to be approx $120 CDN delivered, it would be a pretty good offer
