McLean Oct 11th? [Archive]

Hey guys, wondering if anyone is heading out to McLean again in Oct before it closes?

My summer has has turned out to be so busy I think the last time I was out was in Spring with Winch and Tarzan. Anyone interested a an unofficial, day run?

I was thinking the same thing that we should get one least trip in before Mclean shuts down for the winter. I was thinking of the 17th or 24th as the 11th is Thanksgiving weekend. The club might have plans for an official run to Mclean but nothing posted so far. So anyone interested in one last run to Mclean in October official or not?

I'm in for any weekend if an unofficial run occurs (preferably sunday) except this coming one.

I have recieved word that the basic course and 101 are cancled for October, does this also mean there is no easy run on Oct 11 as well? Are the course and the runs linked? Whats the POOP with official runs for October?

We decided to not run runs or courses this month as they fall on Thanksgiving and on Halloween. However do plan an unofficial run this month!

We do have a Special Event planned for this month and it will be falling on the weekend of the 24th-25th tentatively.

So it's official there is no official run so we can have an unofficial run - LOL. Anyone want to officiate the unofficial run? I'm sorry but this strikes me as Monty Python funny if you know what I mean.

Well... Tentatively (still a bunch of issues to address) - anyone interested in an 'easy' run sunday/monday? I'm thinking the new 4runner might need a baptism :)

I'm out on a run tomorrow with the Jeep club and now made plans for Sun/Mon...thanksgiving and all. I really want to get out again as much as possible this month so I'm still looking for a unoffical run on the weekend of the 17th.

If Harry doesn't start a post for it I will after the weekend.
