Come on Keith, you know you want to! What days are good for you guys? I'm fairly flexible on the dates? If we can figure out a date that works for most, then hopefully most peeps will come out!

Ok so Monday it is now where to go? Quirk Ridge to see the Buddah, Waiperous and the Falls or Dutch Creek and Geocache out thru Atlas road all do able in a day. Quirk Ridge has one technical section about 500 meters long but with spotting can be done in stock rigs. Most folks know what Waiperous is like I think. Dutch Creek is a long drive but amazing scenery and a small amount of 4x4ing that any stock vehicle can accomplish.

I was thinking Mclean creek, lets do some trails that are stock truck friendly. A few notes were made on making it home by 5pm so lets do a day run, have lunch, some more wheeling then head back. I'm not too famillar with Mclean other than "Top of the World", so if anyone wants to chime in please do so.

Hey Harry, did not get a chance to say hi at the BBQ. Just off of Dutch Creek is the Sugarloaf Firelookout trail and then just off of Atlas there is a slew of minor trails including some pretty gnarly hill climbs. I've got a wedding to go to this weekend but I might be able to squeeze in a trail ride on monday. I'd be down for McLean creek as well. Someone should jump off Elbow Falls!

Someone should jump off Elbow Falls!

haha.... yeah someone else should go.... that was a one timer for me. Calculating the depth is a bit of a mystery!... but if you're gonna go... go big... like a gainer or something!

I might be in on this monday... just gotta see how much I can get done... and get that dang harness in the truck.

I'm in. Do we have a set time to meet at the General Store? Also should someone post on the facebook page so that Monday morning we all know time and place to avoid confusion.

well we could just meet at 9am at the PetroCan gas station on hiway 1. It is a pretty easy in and out location, then we can convoy up to Mclean??

Sounds official McLean store Mon 9am - I'll leave trail choice to those who know the area best long as stockers are ok. If we go to Elbow Falls the "jumping" temptation may hit me again.

Awesome you can make it Marc! That sucks to hear Dave but there's always next time! Lets play it by ear for trail choosing, Harry suggested one in a few posts above this one. We can decide once were all there and ready to rock!

Ok since this is an unofficial run there will be few non Toyotas in the mix. I have a buddy from work who has never wheeled coming in his Ford truck. I have a trio of Suzukis coming one well prepared with an experienced driver and the other two have modified rigs with some trail experience. Anyone else bringing friends? We will need to keep things easy and basic for this run I think.

sorry for the late reply, just got back in from Foothills Hospital, I'm going to have to back out of the run... my fiances grandmother didn't fair to well from her surgery Friday, and the doctor just broke the news that she may not be with us long, possibly 2 weeks, it's been hard on the family..... so i'm now rushing to get a yard/deck done for a quick last minute wedding so she can at least see us married.

Have fun, be safe. I'll be good for the next run.

thanks guys.... not the wedding plans we had anticipated, but none the less, nothing in life is every planned.

I thought it would be fitting at least for her see us married, it all depends on if they move her to Paletive care or let her go home and monitored for her last few days. we either get a JP or we have the event here at the house.....

anyways hope th eday went well, thank again for the support

Hey BeachBoy,

Why not merge the two threads and all all of the comments from the other thread to the bottom of this one. Then a simple relocation would do the trick - it would take some work to keep up with the trail rides but with the separation of the threads it seems weird...

Just food for thought.
