We will be doing the 2 day trip to the Falls Creek near Rocky Mountain House
Leaving Calgary in the evening of the 28th and camping and 4WD'ing till the 30th.
The trail difficulty will be 1-7

Dam I'm missing another great run. Next course is on my 25th wedding anniversery so maybe next year I can make one these trips.

Perhaps your wife would like to attend the course as well? Kinda like a wedding anniversary thing to do together?... Learn something together.... always fun to do!
Then a snazzy dinner afterwards..... yup I can see it now.... :D

I guess this time we won't have tim hortons every morning :P
I'll have to go buy a big water container and lots of ice too as it seems RMH is very far from everything.

The Cow Lake store (Grandstage store) is about 30 km from where we will be camping, RMH is about another 15k. We will be stopping in Caroline to fill up with gas, and get last minute supplies like ice, etc, on the way to camp.

Ha ha. Harry, it's not just about offroad training . In fact, I'm of the opnion that you cannot train someone the art of wheeling. You are either going to get it through experience, or you won't. Yes, the training courses include some wheeling basics, but it's much more than that. It's also about rooting out the yahoo's who do not believe in participation in courses, discussions, rules and principals. It's about comraderie, the feeling of being a part of a good team of responsible offroad users, becoming familiar with the vision and mission of this association, contributing your experience to help others, etc, etc, etc.

Great run. Have to send a thanks out to David for coming down a day early to help me clear the trails, as well as Paul for coming out after fixing his truck and giving Dave and I a hand.
