hey guys I'm planning on making the move to Calgary soon and love my Taco in its lifted state. I'm from NL and my local dealer SUCKS! I took my truck in for a front end weird clicking sound and well they tell me that my truck is heavily modified ( 5100's @ 2.5 and rears , TRD bits and BHLM) and said that because its lifted they wont warranty the work!

I really want to go ahead and get the all-pro fox CO's,leafs and rear shock with all-pro armour but I know that they wont even look at me when I have an issue which blows.

Im wondering how the dealers in and around Calgary look upon a liften second gen for warranty purposes.

I wanna get out of the 5100's and get into something top notch.

Thanks

they sell lifted trucks from the dealer here.

unless the problem is related to the lift, then they won't/can't refuse work.

dealers here are pretty good with modified trucks... and a few members here are tech at dealerships :D

I know how you feel. I'm from NL too and the dealers out there hardly see lifted trucks or will rarely work on them for you. But in Alberta almost every 3rd truck is lifted lol.. So really, they have no choice..

Depending on where you end up in the city Country Hills Toyota has been great to me (and others) and as mentioned, I believe one of our members works there.

Another place is Heninger (sp?) Toyota where freeze has been working with some of the guys. Apparently they are thrilled about the club and are willing to go the extra mile - it's all just on the down low at the moment.

Can't wait to see another nice 3rd Gen on the road!
