Who else has the IFS skid from All-Pro? Did anyone else have to grind out the rear bolt hole in order for it to align at the rear? Those little 12mm bolts won't do much (other than align) but it was odd that hole was 1/4" out on one side...

I didn't take any good pictures - just wondering if this was a manufacturing hiccup or what...

You'll need to use a bottle Jack or sufficient force to push the skid upwards to align with the holes. There's about 4 tacomas that are running the skid on the board. I've installed two of them...first times a bit of a pain. Make sure all the two from bolts are a bit lose before getting the rear ones on.

Ya, I had the bottle jack under and pushed it right up, 5/6 went it smooth, just one was off so that I could see 1/4 of the hole I was supposed to go into.

All the 17mm bolts were good to go ( + one 12mm) but as mentioned, the rear left 12mm bolt was never going to line up.

I had the same problem... what I had to do is kinda force the bolt in the hole and started threading it( make sure it's straight ) until I can feel that it's bitting. then everything should just fit nicely. I had to wrestle that skid a bit while I was under there then it lines up...goodluck

Oh, well, it's on there now!

The bolt was going in so crooked the first attempt I wasn't willing to fight with it all morning. With 5/6 (and the big bolts) all lined up I wasn't too concerned about this little guy. A little work with the Dremel inside and I managed to get it buttoned up.

I just figured I would line up bang on - thus the thread. Glad to know I wasn't the only one!
