I just moved to Calgary last summer. Since then I've been acquiring parts for my Black 07 DC. So far I lifted it about 3 inches (kind of ongoing). Ongoing because I bought my rims used last year at a smokin deal, but there a little wide for my truck. There 20*10 eagles and I fitted them with 305/50/20 rubber. I know what your thinking, rub much. I've slowly been adding more lift to the front to try and not have to trim the cab mounts but I'm basically as high as I can go without screwing my alignment. Anyways it will be good to meet up to compare ideas and problems solved along the way.

No I had plans last night. I just put the summer tires on last week. Rubbing bad again on the drivers side. I added camburg UCA's over winter and got an alignment done. I think the increase in caster moved my tire back enough to make the rub worse. Has anyone trimmed there cab mounts behind the front wheels. I've seen pictures of other guys cutting them with chop saws, but I'd rather have a welder trim it and then box it in again. Not much stress there but I don't want to leave it looking unfinished.

I saw a bunch of posts with people cutting then welding a plate.

There is a member here that could probably weld it, or you could find a local welder. I might have to do the same on my truck once I lift, it seems many have this cab mount rubbing problem.

It's Jack... Will's brother. But I think you're right, I think they both can weld. I'm having mine done at National after that suspension gets put in. Dale took a look and said it'll be pretty easy.

Yah I'm really hoping to get this done soon. If anyone could possibly help me out with this I'd greatly appreciate it. Beers are on me for sure. I'm going to be out of town for a couple of weeks but I may take it into national and see what thay would charge me.

If you do end up going to National, don't forget to let Shane know your part of the Association.

I think Will is on here you can PM him under Spooky08
