Hey guys,

This might not be the place to post this, please move it if necessary.

I'm trying to buy some Weathertech floor liners for my 2008 tacoma double cab.

I can see the liners i want on the Weathertech website, but I've heard that they can be purchased cheaper by ordering them through Canadian Tire's keystone system. Well, I tried, but when the Canadian Tire employees try to look up the part number on the keystone system it can't be found.

I've had them try 3 different times with 3 different employees. None have been able to figure it out, and none have tried to resolve the issues with Weathertech or whoever is in charge of keystone.

So, how are you guys ordering Weathertech floor liners through Canadian Tire? if you've done this successfully; When and where were you able to accomplish this seemingly impossible task?

Should I just try a different Canadian Tire? I assume the keystone system will be the same whereever i go...

How much would I save? Should I just say *expletive deleted* it and order them straight from weathertech?

Anyway, any help would be appreciated,
Kyle

I bought mine through Weathertech in Hamilton Ontario, I walked into there show room and said give me those. I bet they will ship and take direct orders.

T&T Honda is a dealer for them..

I got mine from Crappy Tire on Macleod and Southland in the SE. I looked up the part numbers on www.driverfx.ca (http://www.driverfx.ca) and took them with me to CT. Took some fooling around, but the guy was able to find them and the price was much less.

The only problem was, it took 5 weeks to get them. Took CT two weeks to figure out they didn't process the order. Then, when they did process it, the liners were on back order. So it took another 3 weeks to get them in.

So if you get CT to order them, make sure you go early in the day because they can only process the order when the weathertech warehouse is open in ontario. Otherwise they forget to order them.

I went straight through WeatherTec - quick delivery and a great product. I absolutely love mine as they are saving a wear/mud gathering spot just short of my 'rest' pedal on the left of the clutch.

I should pick up a pair for the 'rents when I am not broke...

I tried multiple times with Canadian Tire to no avail. It seems as if Keystone has ditched the Weathertech line altogether. Weathertech is still listed as one of their vendors, but when you try to drill down to an individual product, nothing ever shows up.

I left my info with the guys at Canadian Tire, they said they would look into getting Weathertech from a different system (apparently they are ditching keystone in the near future), but they never called me back (no surprise there). So, I bit the bullet and ordered straight from Weathertech. Damn those things are expensive, but from the sounds of it they should be worth it. I guess I'll know soon enough.

Now I need a bed extender and probably a bed mat, then I can start thinking about fun stuff like armour.

got my floor liners straight from weathertech, the front liners fit great, I think they will do a very good job. the rear liner is a joke. it's at least 3 inches too deep. There's no way in hell it could fit in there. I've double checked the part number, assuming the part number on the website is correct, they've sent me the right part, it's just much much too large.

lame, for such an expensive product, i expected it to be near perfect, instead it's so bad I'll have to return/replace it.

not worth $238.

I used both sets of mine when I went adventuring, it's nice knowing you can get out, walk around and get muddy and jump back in without messing up the carpet. I find the that the coverage is great, gets 95% of the dirt!

I purchased my Weathertech floors liners front and rear from Concept 1 (I know, it's a Volkswagen shop but at the time my friend worked there) Check them out, I'm sure they could still get them.

I just wanted to follow up on this to set the record straight.

Weathertech had sent me the wrong rear floor liner (presumably for a tundra?) which is why it didn't fit. I shipped it back, and they sent me a new one (this time the right one) and everything fits very well now. It's still a little too big when the front seats are put all the way back, but it's good enough. And I say that taking the very significant cost into consideration.

It was a bit of a hassle, but customer service worked with me to resolve the issue in a relatively timely manner. I'd recommend them if anyone asked.

I'd post pics, but apparently the only way to do that now is to attach them which I think is lame. So no pics for you.

you can post pics from anywhere on the web

use www.imageshack.us

then simply use the "direct link" and put it in the img tags!

it'S way better than attaching and uses other's bandwidth keep the forum faster:)

I have my own website, i upload images there all the time to share on forums etc, however, since the forum upgrade, i don't see the option to use html or bbcode, only to upload files as attachments which I'd rather not.

let me try again

aha, it seems bbcode works again, or maybe it always has and I just suck..

anyway, i'll try to get some pics of my interior with the weathertech digital fit floor liners and wet okole seat covers.

that's weird, I only have XP, but I'll try on different browsers. This forum is strict html compliant so should be compatible.

After I link the site/forum I'll be able to look in these little things (and change that ugly logo on top)

I always just type the BB Code so I never noticed ... but I don't have any of the editor options either. Just the "Post Icons" below the message editor.

Windows XP ... firefox 3.5.2 as well
