rock chips: hood? and wheel?

i have some rock chips on the hood. i have tried to fill a tiny bit, then let dry, then fill more, but the results are terrible. what are you guys doing for them, or do you really care?

also, with wheels that stick out and aggressive tires, how bad are the chips along the body

The chips along the body aren't that bad, a few here and there. oriontaco took his to a detailing shop and it turned out pretty good. They filled them nicely and buffed out some major scratches from the trees and bushes.

I've got rock chips all over... mine looks like butt!

i have more rock chips on my hood and A-pillars than anywhere else. I can't look at the hood without it chipping.

I have 3M clear tape all along the bottom of my truck and it has really minimized the rock chips on the body. It has been on there since new in Feb. 2006, so far so good.
