Anyone got any tips for using a HVLP gun?

Well, i got everything setup.. my makeshift paint booth, good air compressor, hose, filter, primer/paint/clear,sandpaper, da sander..
wish me luck haha.

Yup, everything is at my house..
so far im almost done sanding. ive had alot of snags this morning trying to set up my air lines and gun so i had alot of running around to do. But now, im rockin'... got my nice guage,inline water filter.. booya! hopefully ill be done by tonight

haha man, if you really want to do. I'd be down.
Im starting to like this body work stuff. Im kinda lucky tho, there wasnt to much rust on that door i got.. there was a bit of surface rust but other than that. I dont think i even need to put down any body filler. I almost made a big mistake, because after you take it down to bare metal, i guess you need to put down "etch primer" which seals the metal.. the paint shopi went to was closed till monday but one friend said crappy tire has aerosol cans which work great to... But yeah, im hoping the wind will calm down a bit.. or i guess ill have to shoot with the garage door closed.

On other note, does anyone know the laws about running doorless..

Crap, so im on my clear coat, hopefully should be done tomorrow.. my weekend sucked, my parents went out of town and the entire time my friends chilled in my house while i painted with my one buddy....

bunk weekend fo sho.

Ps. never ever ever get duplicolor paint shop paint in the cans.. it blows.

Well I got some dents after my trip up to Prairie Creek with Canadianbum, blacktac99 and beachboy so if you want to help figure out how to hammer those out ... I'll be by your house sometime this week.

Yeah for sure, i remembed one guy on the forum that i talked to one at the coffee meet said he had that spot weld dent puller and he'd lend it to me. i could pull mine to and what not

yeah their wheel paint is good, so is their high temp and rock liner.
but deffs not their "paint shop paint"

Yeah, it turned out okay. I need to learn how to set up my gun better and learn the differnt types of paint.. but heck, it looks ALOT better than that ugly red. booya!
