Just introducing myself. I just picked up an 09 Black TRD sport DBL cab LB Last Saturday....been a dream of mine for the past ten years to have one....finally made the switch from my GM!
Going to have to lean on you guys for help as I am very much motor/vehicle illiterate. But I do head out to CNP for hiking/backpacking and Lynx and Dutch creek areas for some fly fishing and now hope my truck can get me to better trailheads or better spots. Last time I did Cleft caves, we had to hike most of the trail in as my jimmy barely got us in to the woods!
I will eventually get a lift, what kind and how, I will leave that up to your ideas....but that will be down the road. Gotta absorb the cost of the new truck first. Looking for new tires and wheels too...again down the road...
I did get side step bars and the skid plate installed, as well as ipod interface and xm sat.....not sure what I will do next from here.
Took it out to Spray lakes for some camping (didn't do any fishing but they were jumping out of the lake this past weekend) and My Rotty already scratched the damn thing as he was trying to get out of the bed.......notihing major and it can be buffed out.
Anyways, looking I will post some pics soon, but I am sure you all have seen a black stock Taco.....looking forward to learning from you experienced wheelers and gain some kmowledge about the taco and how much money I can sink into it.

PS. Arigold because thats what I named my golden retriever that is 8 mos old...the rotty is 6 years and is a giant...will show pics of those two as well.
