A buddy and I decided to go to the Crowsnest Pass today and head up to the plane crash site.

Here are a few pics from our run today.

Ofcourse I got stuck in the same slop pit, it was unavoidable. Unfortunately no pics of me in there but I do have a video of me getting stuck that i'm having troubles getting on the comp. But here's a shot after I was winched to freedom

Another pic of Bill stuck, but this time his winch decided to quit working, he eventually got out by backing up and hitting that ledge hard but it was enough to get his front end up and out. I followed through and was stuck at first aswell, but after a few tries and couple 30' rooster tails I got out.

An interior shot after the 30' rooster tail. I wish I had video of that because I ended up hitting Bill and his son with a massive amount of mud.

A couple more shots after that last harry mud hole.

I didn't take anymore pics after that hole but we did come across a nice steep decent that was major offcamber with a massive boulder protrouding out the side of the slope.

It was an interesting day that could have went better if we prepared just a little harder but hey you live and learn.

Cheers

lol, I guess i failed to mention that we didn't get to make it to the crash site. We were only about half a kilometer from the site when we encountered what looked to be an avalanche that buried the trail. It wasn't major but it was enough to make us second guess the road up.

yeah... usually it's still a bit snowy up there until July.

It's a really amazing sight to see the plane wreckage. Great to see you got out there!
