If you think that building a brand new FJ Cruiser and getting it trail ready is expensive. You gotta check out getting a restored ICON Toyota Landcruiser FJ. If you want to get your FJ completely restored and you dont have the time to hunt for parts or even dont have time to do any of the work yourself ... the company to go to is TLC. They've been doing crazy restos on FJs for a long time and know what they are doing. TLC does work for automotive museums and for Toyota.
They decided to do "new" FJ-40, FJ-43 and FJ-45 builds under the Icon name. These things are sick. They are for the guy who can't even be bothered to find an old FJ to restore. Of course this means things cost a little bit more.

Here is the vid for the Icon Baja 40th anniversary FJ-40 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU4pjHsbB-o)
Here is just an overview of the TLC Icon Features (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1J3L78eUB0&feature=related).
The website is Icon 4x4 (http://www.icon4x4.com/)
So whenever you think gettin' a new cruiser sounds expensive remember that you could instead drop $100, 000 on an old one.
