Ha.... not mine but on my buddies taco. His is the reason that I own mine!!

So he just called me and said his bit the big one pulling out of work, not even beating on it and everything just stopped.

So what is the best option for him when Toyota tells him to go f&*k his hat??

it is a 2005 TRD Off Road, keep in mind that he is in Ontario but local for me parts I can ship him.

Maybe find a wrecked one and pull it out of that. It's pretty easy to pull the 3rd out of these trucks. Other than that I'm not too sure. I know there's an ongoing thread regarding busted thirds here:

How long is the drivetrain warranty on the new trucks.

He has 108,000 on the truck but has always had the fluids done on time at Toyota just for a situation like this. He is gonna try to push Toyota to do something about it citing TTORA List as some kind of back up to the point that this is a common issue, and see how that goes.
