Those are some great pictures, and yeah the sudden hard rainstorm didn't help :(
I only have a few pics on my BB as my gf had the camera this weekend. I took a few shots of the damage I got on the weekend, so hopefully I can get some estimate on how much it will cost to get my front quarter panels and my rear drivers tire fixed :(

Hey Shane sorry to hear about your tire. The run looked like fun and this weather is so unpredictable lately, but glad that you guys more than survived to tell about it. Whose dog? I love the last photo! That just about said it all.

hopefully all they have to do is pull the tree bits out and clean the bead up a bit and the tire should be all set. if its torn up on the bead, its toast. doubt it though, if it's not leaking.

Haha looks like fun. I was just debating with Gherra the other weekend about how I dislike Mclean so much because it always seems to be a huge swamp...
I have to get my Junk ready this upcoming weekend for some near future fun.

Well it was rainy. The mud is good, it's fun to take techincal routes and scout the sticky stuff. But that's just me. And I haven't been to waiprous for years.

Yeah, Beau is beautiful dog, and a wonderful personality. The run started off great, then it rained, then it got ssssslippery, I really need to mod my truck soon!! Thanks to Rapier46 and his winch! I'll post a few pix soon.

Debating? Sounded more like arguing to me, ha ha. :)
But to McLean's credit, the whole place is really not a swamp. There are some dry trails, like Quirk ridge, Fisher west, and 2 out of the 4 trails up to Top of the world are pretty dry, and there are others. I personally still find McLean the best spot for wheeling in Alberta with the variety of trails, etc.

McLean does offer some nice higher alpine terrain with a good mixture of ruts and trail. It can offer some real diversity especially if it rains or snows... :D

Best in Alberta? Oh man just you wait till we start wheeling in the Nordegg area. It's going to be good.
