Fathers Day Camp

I am thinking about camping this weekend at Dutch Creek just before the old sawmill site. http://www.ct4wd.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=685&stc=1&d=1276563414 No real wheeling to speak of but Hannah and I have one unfound geocache to locate which requires some backroad exploring. There are many Geocaches located around Dutch Creek and Atlas road and a stock 2 wheel drive truck can travel the roads easily. My tenative plan is to drive down Sat morning find a spot by the creek and in the afternoon go exploring. Anyone else interested?

Would have loved to Harry, but it looks as if I'm going to be working on my tires this weekend so I'm in good shape for Crowsnest on the 25th.

Ok since no interest for this weekend I'm going to try and make the 2 day run. Any chance we can camp at DC and hit the trail from there? I really would like to get out to DC and it's very close to the planned trail run.

I don't know what any of the plans for the run are as of yet but I can say that I like the Dutch Creek area. I've been trying to get some people up on Sugar Loaf mountain for a while now. Amazing views!

Dutch Creek would make for a shorter drive on Friday night. The Ground Pounders have used this area for staging when they wheel the North side of Crows Nest for many years now and after wheeling that area myself I can see why they do. I can provide GPS coordinates to the site beside the creek and map images as well.
