I'm not sure how much stuff you guys usually throw on that little shelf in the back of the truck, but with my tool boxes, and a few jugs of fluid, there's a fair amount of weight up there. So much in fact, that my factory shelf collapsed in the center. I decided that rather than repair it, I would just build a new one. Took me an hour and a half from start to finish. It's made out of 3/4" MDF, and is extremely sturdy.
