So I went into work the other day ... only to find that there really wasn't that much to do. Mostly sat around, had a safety meeting of sorts. The big topic of conversation was the new Bass Pro Shop. We decided to cut out and make the couple hundred km journey to rockyview (totally worth it ... if you have not been yet, it is worth checking out).
A coworker takes his dogs walking on some unmaintained back roads and since we went out before he wanted to see what the ol' 'yota could do. Not much in mud unfortunately. My "mall terrains" are not quite up to snuff. Here are a few pics.

So this was all on a legal road that they simply don't maintain. To go exploring, head east out mcknight until you start seeing signs that say "road may be impassible".
