VHF on the cheap

For anyone looking to try out the VHF world cheap cheap! I can't personally vouch for their quality. And I don't know if they can be modded.

But i have heard they are quite rugged. The guy will bundle shipping too.

ya I am sure its no IC-V82 or VX-170 , but for $75 to your door as long as it'll go 10km or so and hit the local repeaters who cares. It would be a handy one to hand a spotter to run around with.

And even used as a monitor for those that don't have their license. Monitor the repeaters or the simplex freq just to be in the loop.

It does come with 2 chargers. This radio could be my shop monitor radio.
