yes, they sold them before, stopped for a year and now are selling them again.

Just keep in mind that these use the same "tent like shiny, wrinkly" material like the ARB tents and others use and are reflected in the price.

Yup... same tent as ARB, Mombasa, Camping Lab, Eezi Awn, etc... There's one manufacturer for all of them. Just a different logo, base and mattress. It's ripstop canvas/nylon construction.

Looks like they're sold out though.

I guess the price is on par with other vendors. I haven't been on their website in a bit, so it was new to me!

I obviously need to be spending more time online for, "research" and such. I'd hate to miss something new that I,m not allowed to spend money on. (Grin)

My neighbor has a RTT - same brand (Tech something?) as Mookies on top of his Landcruiser. He also showed up with a M101 on the weekend, and it also looks like he's running VHF. I haven't introduced myself yet but will soon.

I guess the price is on par with other vendors. I haven't been on their website in a bit, so it was new to me!

So... with all this shopping, could an upcoming birthday surprise be in the works??? for both of you???

Noland, it's simply window shopping for now. Carolyn discovered a couple of small PayPal payments taken from the joint account a couple of days ago. Note to self: be sure to "check" the credit card button next time - this is what happens when you're sitting on the couch with your laptop buying something online and your wife suddenly
sits down next to you, and asks, "whatcha doing?" I totally panicked and completed my transaction without looking at where the funds were being taken from. (Grin)

Nathan, yes indeed, it is Mookies birthday coming up!

I noticed the guy from Titan winches put up photos of the tent on his Xterra (it looks really good) so maybe he has them back in stock?

I'm really wishing that I had one of these for my week in the shuswap, and the worst part is I found out a few of them were out on the trails where I was camping and I missed out on some BC wheeling... I guess I need to start planning my trips a bit better!
