Well I just added to my collection of Toyota's. I traded a guy straight across for my 87 suzuki LT500R racing quad. Think it was a good trade.
1985 Pickup Extra cab. 4'' procomp front springs and rancho rear springs, welded front and rear. 305 chev sb, 350 trans, 203 transfer case. Brand new 36'' SS TSL's. Rebuilt front axle and steering, and hillbilly stacks, lol. And the floor is mint, and frame is good to go.

You're amassing quite the fleet.

I hope you plan on removing the hillbilly stacks, they scream redneck!

Thanks guys..
This 305 is almost stock. Its got the stock 350 heads and cam. And I think he said its got a double roller chain?? Putting some insurance on her today. Few things that need to be done. I need to put a longer return line on for the power steering pump, the one on it is too short and is pinching off. Run a dual battery set up and install my winch off my 4runner. Clean out the interior and cover the shifter holes. Don't know if i will keep the 203 transfer case, i'll see how it works on the trails. Really want to take the welded front gears out. Build a nice rear deck. Hi steer in the distant future.
Seeing that this rig is an automatic, thinking this could be my wifes new rig. Fingers crossed. haha

Funny you say that, I was just talking that over with my father last night. Much better for offroad.

Actually it all works. But i am going to be rewiring the electric fans. Red wires running along the fire wall to battery.

90 Runner, I will keep you in mind if I decide to go propane.

Fixed the power steering issue with the pinching hose. Just bought a new longer hose and she's good. Got it insured today and took her out on the hiway. Not too bad, but man that drone coming off them stacks is nuts, she is loud. Might take it and my 83 out tomorrow to test them out. My father will be running the 85. Im sure i'll get behind the wheel at some point. I still havent really got my 83 out in the bush yet.

Im thinking this 85 may end up getting a 4 link in the rear, chopping the frame off at the back of the cab and going tube. But thats just a dream right now, need a shop to work on it first..
