I need some coil springs for my Tacoma and have decided on the OME 881's.
I am having a hard time finding a place that will ship (reasonably) to Canada.
All local shops want $100 per coil and that just seems a little high, so I'm just looking for some advise on good places to buy.

You can try ToraSport as well. Their prices that are advertised are usually higher than what they actually sell for, so give them a call and see what they'll do for you.

Thanks for the replies. I guess since I do not know anybody that lives in the US, I am out of luck as far a shipping goes. It seems most companies are to lazy to drop stuff off at the post office.
Prices down sout are great, but shipping is killer
Anyone else got any connections?

My only suggestion would be to ship to holding warehouse at the Sweetgrass border crossing and do a border run. Of course this depends where in Alberta you actually are.

Torasport has the 881's listed at $79.95 so really $100 isn't that bad considering shipping, gas, or whatever else.

I purchased my OME stuff from Metal Tech. There shipping rate was very reasonable.

I have been looking for OME add a leafs like Nathan got or OME Dakar HD leaf packs, and its pretty interesting to see the variation in prices!
I have been checking out trdparts4u.com and it seems like they are reasonably priced, just have no idea on shipping...
I got my OME springs and shocks from All-Pro during the group buy and it was a great deal!

Thanks for all the replies. trdparts4u will not ship to Canada and wheelers shipping is pretty high, shipping from NSOR after shipping brings the price par with the local shops.
I bit the bullet this morn and ordered local. I've got the Billy 5100 adjustables, OME 881's, and the Dakar rears coming.
Before I found I had a broken rear leaf I ordered an add-a-leaf, but obvously cannot use it any more. If anyone is interested in a Tacoma add-a-leaf, I have one for sale (brand new never installed).

I've gotten stuff from TRDParts4u before (relatively recently too). Wheeler's is awesome to deal with and after I got my Icon's, Billy's and Deavers shipped it was still just over what National would have charged for just the fronts (a set of "Fab"Techs coilovers). I have not dealt directly with NSOR but I know that they are supposed to have free shipping on orders over $750. Weird.
Well its all good if you found a place local that can compete with the big boys. No more shipping hassles that way.

Is there any benefit for shipping larger quantities? If so get them quoted with a pair of OME 886 Heavy Front springs for My FJ :) and we can split the shipping.

Oh, when I ordered the first kit, and bumper etc, Brazenhead and I got together and ordered through torasport and shipped to border. It was economical with a larger order. On a couple sets of springs it probably won't work quite as well...

This was what I was told by trdparts4u:
Hi Tye,
We really don't have a cost effective way of shipping leafs to Canada. Do you have a US address we can send them to?
Thanks,

And this was what Wheeler's had to say:
We ship UPS expidited. And the shipping would be about $110. That includes all the taxes, brokrage fees, etc.
Which is close to par with NSOR and a little less than local.
I just wish that alot of companies down south would use USPS instead of UPS.
The add-a-leafs are gone BTW :D
Anyone have any experience when it comes to installing the OME springs onto the 5100 Billy's? I am under the impression that a press is a good idea.
With the age of my suspension, what are the chances that the coil spring isolators and anything else in the factory strut (C/O) being reusable?
How about shackles or front hanger bolts???
