Just bought a set of Kumho KL71's for my 4Runner today. They are a 32x11.50. Not sure yet if I have to do any trimming. I will find out tomorrow while im at work, when I can put some flex to her. Should be a good test in the mud as well. They will see lots of greavle roads, but shouldn't wear too bad as the Runner weighs next to nothing. I will update every few thousand kms as to how these things hold up.

Nice. Please keep us in the loop. I need tires for my taco and have been looking at these for a while but cant find to many reveiws because they are still new. I wonder if they will be loud at highway speeds, what is their ply and how is the stearing wheel vibration ? I am stuck between these and toyo mt's,cooper stt or the nitto terra grappler mt. What do you think and why did you choose this tire if i may ask ?

If you look at the price of them in the states, they are right on par (price wise) with the Nitto and other better known tires. It looks like the dudes that complete the survey on Tire Rack seem to like them. If they were cheaper than some of the established tires, I am sure more people would try them. Pretty tough to beat the Terra grapplers .. very well thought after (well at least by the 80 series crowd!)
Keep us posted for sure!

Price $950.00 for 4, balanced and intalled.
Tread Ply 5
Sidewall Ply 2
Road noise is less then my BFG MT's
Steering Vibs minimal, but my tuck is an 84 with a SFA
I chose this tire due to the fact that I had to wait 8 to 10 weeks on the TSL Radial, and due to the fact that I've talked with a few guys that have run this tire and the TSL and say they chew just as good in the mud, better in the snow and last longer on a DD. They were a little cheaper too.
So far this morning I have had these on the ice and in some deep snow and perform better than my BFG's did. Just have to wait till the afternoon to test them out in the mud.

Is it?? I didn't shop around. Loyal to OK Tire, always been able to beat anyone in town for pricing.
Mud.... Check. Works nice in the slime and cleans out very well.
Gravle.... Check. Nice and stable even at a good speed.
Short of these tires lasting only 25k, like my Toyot MT's did on my Tundra, I think I made a good choice.

Sorry .. I should qualify my answer. It's a good deal if you buy your tires in Canada. As always, I am sure they are priced better in the US.

It is possible to get an update on how the tire is holding up? Wet traction? How was the rest of the snow and ice treating it?
Plz? :D
