I need your help guys and gals!

So, I got me some sliders and they look pretty badass I know. Now, they're going to get powdercoated next week and I am quite undecided on which color.

Black- The norm, looks good, not a big deal if they're scratched.
Silver- Matches my rig, something different, don't really care if they get scratched up because that's what sliders are for anywho.

Black would flow well with the ARB and the Cobra (Snorkel) very well.
Silver would match the Millennium Silver of my twuck.

Thoughts, opinions...

Personally... I think black. I do agree that the silver would look different and no doubt good, but the black will hide the scratches better and flow better with your bumper and snorkel.

Why don't you do one black, and one silver! hahaha... nobody can see both of them at the same time so they will never know!!!!

I'm inclined to go black as well....especially if you decide to have some tube fenders done to tie the ARB back to sliders (HINT).

If you were to do it, go silver that is, you'd have to go silver on the bumper as well. Black looks great too and because you've got the snorkel (and can't imagine you painting that) it is probably the easier and better option but the silver would be an original.

To me, it would be a waste of money to powdercoat sliders, because your expensive paintjob won't last anyways and get scratched in no time. Once this happens you have two choices - either let it rust to pieces or keep patching up the scratched areas to prevent rust from happening. If I was you, I would go with black rhino liner. :)

I voted Black. I was going to vote silver because if they get all scratched and banged up it won't be as noticeable. But when I think about other black sliders I've seen they don't look that bad. And I mean really, how shiny do you need your truck to be. So the sliders are banged up - who cares. Clearly I'm getting ahead of myself.

I would go black as it is more likely to match the other black on the vehicle, the silver may not match as closely.

You're assuming Vic bought these to slide over rocks with. Really, they are just for looks. Even though this is the case, I think you need to go with black so people think you really use them...hehe :)

Just kidding bud. I would consider saving the cash and painting them with bed liner...just do a better job then me. The $10 a can Crappy Tire stuff has stuck way better then the $19 a can stuff from Napa fyi. Either way, I vote black.

Go silver and paint your bumper and snorkle silver too. That would look unique and you will be the only guy out their that has that. Followers are leaders that never have the balls to step up and take life by the horns. Bottom line is its is your rig and as long as you are happy we will all be happy for you !

To add to my first response. I think it would kinda like like a sleeper offroad truck if it was all colour matched. And very good point that if you didnt like it you could always change it whichever way you go ! Another good way would be to post a pic of your truck and CALL OUT to the photo shop yoda's ?
