I'm going to start posting my open runs in the open threads I don't think you should have to pay to see the open runs or to participate in them. It's up to the run organizer to determine what qualifications are needed. I will inform you of the next run via pm so you don't miss out.

This is the same reason I finally bought the premium membership yesterday. I really wanted to be able to make it out for a run soon.

we'll look into the private vs non-private thing at our next meeting.

There is a small discrepency in the requirements for and unofficial open run. The instructions list stating what courses may be required yet you can't be a premuim member with out the courses so it more like unofficial premuim members only. I 'm sure it will get sorted out.

Back to the trail report.

Best example ever caught on film for a front locker.

It was a lot of fun and I'm excited to head back up that way to explore more of the Falls Creek trails. Snow wheelin' rocks. :P

So a few things from this trip. Three whole decent photos and a SPOT tracking map.

I don't really know if I like the idea of openly posting GPS coords for the trails we were on especially the first trail since its a seasonaly one. Good idea to catalouge the trails for future endevours with SRD but this is an open thread to anyone and thats all we need is yahoos out there going through the unfrozen skeg in the summer.

The Spot co-ords are not very exact ... plus they time out after a week. Someone would have to manually record 'em. Just gives an idea. I can take it down though.

Yeah its hard enough to fight this battle to keep areas open as it is no sence taking unneeded risks. Having it open to tree huggers, activists, and irrresponsible wheelers. At least when they are with a group that knows the trails you can tell them that what they are doing is wrong.

I think it's the sledders we got keep out of there. They keep trying to groom the trails flat! ;)

Haha yeah I know. We do need to keep people like that out of there who park there trucks right in the middle of a road. Its only going to lead to confrontation within the outdoor user community.
