I go to school on The Island and right now I'm working there, going back and forth all summer. My truck isn't there though :(.

Going to VIU? Liking it? So far I know a couple guys around town that are on the FJCruiserforums.com but no one to really adventure with unfortunately. I'm just a one man show most of the time.

I'm more than okay with that. All my friends own cars, and any wheeler I meet on the trails doesn't take me seriously because i'm in a newish vehicle. I might just have to drive out to Alberta and do some runs with you guys.

No sir, I'm at Camosun for my electrical apprenticeship. I'll be going to 4th year in August. UVic may be sometime in the future though, who knows, the girls would bring me to it more than the schooling. :P

Haha, I hear you on the girls aspect of Victoria. I moved there for a couple years after graduation... The ratio is out of this world. Good luck with the schooling!

I'm originally from Hornby Island, I also lived in Nanaimo for a while. I try to make it out there at least a few times a year.

Yeah, our roots are on the Island as well...Victoria. We moved to Cal-gry in 2003 for work.

hey i just joined the group and i live on the island! sweet to see that there are also some others from the island on here! we should all do a trail run some time.
