I ran a used set of 31's last summer.
They didn't have much tread left on them, but plenty of sidelugs.
I really liked them. I was slopping around in some gumbo in 2wd when I would've been in 4 with the street tires.
They really like to climb curbs if you rub the curb.
They had a slight drone to them but nothing crazy.

I've heard and read nothing but good things about them. ie tread life, winter grip, mud grip, noise.. etc, I've looked for them in the past around town but wasn't able to find a distributor.
Let me know if you find a store selling them
thanks

I have a friend that can get them for wholesale, I will ask if I can send people over, but usually these are exclusive deals.

Toyotas seem to do okay running the STTs.

2nd in the 2010 Dakar Rally (South America) (http://www.moderntiredealer.com/News/Story/2010/01/Toyota-Cooper-Tire-team-finishes-second-in-2010-Dakar-Rally.aspx)

A little bit late on this but I've been running the STTs for ~10,000 Kms now.

They still look brand new, I spend most of my driving on the road and a little offroad. They have been great to me.

I've been told by some friends who have ran them that they are really soft and wear quickly, but they were a bit harder on them than I am.

I have been running the tires for about 35000km's now and they have really stood up well. Most of my driving is on pavement, but when called upon be it mud or deeper snow, they work excellent. When it comes to packed snow or ice though, start braking way early for stops (speaking from a $3500 experience), and if on any incline for a start...lock in your 4x4. Tread has help up far better than expected for what is primarily an off road tire. They look great too. My $.02 anyways.
