Good times. I love snow wheelin. Scenery in Waiparous as always is stunning.

Thanks to Wellsey and David E. from breaking trail and thanks to Doc McCoy for tail gunning and telling us where in the world to go! Definitely got to make another trip back to check out more of the new trails before the end of March!

Hope everyone drove home safely.

Yeah, I had a great time. Thanks to Ryan for organising a great run out to Waiparous.

I'd up my photos too, but as has been the case the last bunch of times wheeling ... I forget all about the camera after the first or second obstacle. :(

Great day though. We should do it all again soon! What are you guys up to today? ;)

Yeah, we (daughter Sarah & I) had a great time!

Weather was just perfect for a winter run (says the guys on his first one :D)

Dante (the dog) ran himself tired playing with Max, the Hakka winter tires did really well on the hill climbs - was good to find that out.

It looks like an awesome time!!! I'm amazed every time looking down some of the super snowy/icy hills that the Toyota was able to make it up without too much fuss!

I think my wintercat tires did well, considering I didn't air down. I think the studs helped on the frozen river but not on the hard packed snow. I think I would consider going out again with my dedicated winter tires.

re: winter tyres - the Hakkas seemed to work well - I really felt in control, both accents & descents.

I air'd down to 20 PSI and that seemed to work well. No damage to them that I could see.

I have my photo through lightroom so they get tagged, edited, etc in there. Then simply upload and all the info is there. I use the uploadr so it's drag and drop.

I also have a GPS thing but still haven't found a fast way to geotag my pictures.
