+05 front suspension fit?

Would the trd (yellow bilsteins) & coils from an '08 taco fit on a '99 off-road?

Anything can be made to fit but ... my understanding is that the top plates don't line up properly. As well, they are designed for a completely different weight. Don't think anyone else has tried it but if you do let us first gens know how it goes.

That's kinda what I figured.

I posted my suspension parts on kijiji and I got a reply asking if they could put the parts into their '99.

they can not as the top plates are totally different in design....
the 3 mounting studs on the top plates are in different positions .....
the first gens have the one stup at centre outboard and the second gens apex of the 3 is located inboard in the strut tower
