My very first Toyota 4x4 was a white '83. Brings back some memories. You have a great looking rig.

My wife and I got out last night to see if we could get stuck in the snow. Took her down some pipelines and cut lines. I love how this rig chews through the snow. She is unstopable, it would lose speed and spin down on the hills. And just when i think i was stuck it would just keep going forward. It was a blast.

your truck makes me wonder if I should've kept all the money I spent on my 2009 and bought a similar truck instead hehe.
My girlfriend convinced me we did the right move with only 1 truck and a better daily driver, but still...

Yeah Im glad I have two other trucks to choose from cause driving something like this everyday would not be fun at all. The truck runs great but man its noisy. I need to do the whole floor with some dyna matt to quiet things down a bit.

Oh yea the Iroks work great. Think i might try and trade them off on some 36'' TSL SS's though.

i'd steer away from TSLs for your rig, especially since you do snow wheeling. i've run 38 TSL SXs and they were BRUTAL in the winter. Toys don't weigh enough let TSLs do their job. You can't get much better than an irok with 5 psi for snow. just my 2 cents haha

Thanks for the input, i havent decided yet, waiting till spring to see how these perform, dont really do alot of snow wheeling.

An update on my truck. Not much to tell but I replaced my front bilsiens with shorter procomp shocks a couple weeks ago. Since the springs are a few years old they lost about 2-3 inchs and my old shock were now too short, hittin the internal bump stops in the shock before the stops on the spring.
And just in the last two days I painted the truck black using a rocker guard. Much improvement I think. Next on my list is on-board air. Not much elts to do to this rig, maybe some nice seats?? On with the post paint pics.

oh damn the flat black looks rad.
I have mazda miata seats in my 82, and they fit awesome, are comfortable, and there is still a bit of room to tilt the seat back a bit. Just a suggestion.

Thanks guys!
Went out with my dad and his buddy today for a shake down run on my dads truggy. It use to be an 89 pathfinder, stock susp, open front and limided slip rear on 35'' boggers. Did very well considering. Mine did great too, but run like *expletive deleted*! Water in my tank! Only went out for a few hours and didnt take many pics.

That about sums up my dads projects. He once put a van on an old chevy frame with those same 35's under it. You wouldn't believe how much people stop him to ask questions and take pictures.
