want to install the arb air locker in front diff of 2006 tacoma. Does anyone know if these things keep working when it is 40 below? Would think the moisture in the compressed air would freeze up and make the unit useless!

Yup they still work! There's mostly gear oil that will kinda blow though the lines, but nothing on the moisture side if you keep your diffs water free. I haven't had any issues with them in the 5 years I've had mine up front in the 81.
Don't forget to introduce yourself too!... welcome to the forum!

find a really good shop that knows Air locker inside and out or you will be in a world of hurt and they will always leak.

Where did you get yours done? Edmonton is closer than where I was going to send mine. I was thinking of sending away to ZUK in the states but it ends up being pretty pricey.

Sending to the states would be a bad idea in case you have something wrong with the build or install of the locker also warrenty with the locker incase you should ever break it.
I know how you treat your truck!
I had mine done here,

Talk to Dan (owner) and let him know I sent you, He does great work and stands behind all of it, which to me is one of the most import things about his business. I've got a lot of stuff from Dan for my truck, and I will be for a long time, even though I will be working there soon.

Wet-foot are you in Manitoba?
Perhaps there's a 4x4 shop in your area that deals with ARB or drivelines that could help you out locally. The ARB these days are much better on the install side regarding airline durability. Less chances of messing the copper line. I think the place Doc mentioned they sell/ship pre installed clamshells (the whole new diff with ARB locker). That's what I did with my 81, Marlin Crawler sent both my front and rear thirds built with 5.29's and ARB's.
I think there are a few places out of the states that do full clamshells without having to send in yours down.

X2, but I would still find a shop that has a little experience with air lockers, just so you don't have any issues.

some shops do core charge also, i.e. you get the installed thirds then send you own for a refund.
