About this wheel style on a first gen taco? Ignore the branding and the fact they are 5 bolt :) Think more Mitsu Ralliart Dakar style

I think they would get scuffed pretty good on the trails :D

they may get a bit scuffed but they are a SOLID rim, I can contest to that, as I have seen these run in Rallly on Mitsu Lancers. They stand up fairly well and can take the abuse thrown at it. I almost bought a set for my Lancer Sportback, but never got to buying them after the divorce.
I think they'd look pretty good on a taco.

The ones I will get are actually the Ralliart rims from Mitsu Pajero fame...but same general style.

They look like nice wheels for travelling fast. Normally the rally guys are not messing with rocks ... big rocks. They try and avoid those completely. We don't, we normally just try not to get too damaged by 'em.

I really like these :) Not sure about there strength but I can't imagine popping a bead of the 3" flat lip?

Not sure why, but I really like these. What are they? That lip is huge. Any specs?

If you don't take 'em ... how much are they and where can I get 'em?

They are on auction in Japan. I'm bidding on them. Enkei BORGNER ZX 15x8, zero offset.

all i have to say is.....ricer rims...

you drive a beefy ass(or on it's way to ) truck... you need truck rims not toy car rims
your vehicle ways a huge amount more then a rally car does so there goes your strength factor.....

car rims are designed for cars specifically
and truck rims are designed for trucks...
and off road rims are designed for offroad abuse
you slide side ways into a good rock under full truck wieght and i bet that rally race rim snaps a lip chunk off like it's plastic......

i can get you decent off-road rims for a really good deal if you want
and it'll save you time in waiting and save you some shipping too

that depends though, they could be Off-Road alloys from Japan that are pretty strong and built for 4WD use.

Even some of the 4WD rims aren't that strong either.

You see lots of 80's from Japan with the nice wide 5 spoke rims.

Neither wheels are 'car' wheels. Both are made by reputable international companies and for 4x4 use. I never really had any concern on strength but hey, I'll bring a spare :)

Also, I don't find them any more 'rice' then bronze TRD offroad wheels with fake beadlocks rings :D Or any more bling then chome walker evans or poison syders with laser cut cobwebs. To each his own I suppose.

Here are the Ralliarts:
