So I spent the weekend doing man stuff, welding and tube bending... OK, fine I was more so bending, measuring and helping with the project, but i still helped.

Anyway we have finished designing, fabing up and tacking my new front tube bumper. It is a direct bolt on application with no modifications needed for installation.

We shall name it OverKill.

My friend will finish up the welding and then it goes in for blasting and powder coating on Wednesday. I can't wait to post the pictures of the finished product.

This is the start of a line of three bolt on bumpers that will be made all available to the general public. For now I will post some picture and please give me some feedback.

This friend of mine will also be taking custom orders to the right Toyota owners.

In the works are: An Arctic style Bar
Old School Double Tube with Hoop (SmittyBuilt style)
Full slider for a double cab long box
Light bar for the box

Here are some early pictures of the "OverKill" bolt on

As you can tell it is a direct bolt on. There are 10 bolts to attach it and it take only about 10 min to install. I am stoked to get some pictures of it as soon as it comes back from the powder coaters and the lights have been installed.

Looks great. you guys did a really nice job.

Only thing I can't see is any way to tie the sides into the frame for side impact? Or am I missing somthing.

The front/side section is braved to the frame by a lower two point brace that is mounted behind those pull out tabs inserts. It is hard to see it in the picture bit I done think it's going anywhere.

provided it goes from wheel well to wheel well & has the kickout, oh also prefer a bolt-on instead of welded.

hehe, that's not being too picky is it?

I'll let him know. I'll be back in Calgary next weekend so maybe we could begin fabing something up. How much would you be willing to spend on a slider set which meets your requests.

Yes this along with sliders are the next project if I can insure my friend some sold units. Again what would you be willing to pay. asof now they can be purchased from the states for about 600 to your door. But being made in Calgary the would be cheaper and more readily avalible. I just need to insure my friend that there is an interest. Before he goes and builds a unit for me to market.

in terms of cost, this is what stubbs welding charges for sliders. They make a model which fits a DCLB nicely. BeachBoy runs a set (HD-SKO???), they look fabulous.
